A chat that answers from your pages
Switch it on and it answers visitors from your published pages, and emails you the questions it cannot answer.
Hello. Ask me anything about Crumb and Co.
Build from your words or from a site you like, change anything in plain words, and run your site with hosting, analytics, forms and versions included. Each of the 32 features below says what it needs: a plan, a switch, or nothing at all.
A site's life has five parts. Briks covers each one, so you are not stitching a builder, a host, a form service and an analytics tool together yourself.
Everything before your first publish. Briks designs every site you describe from a blank page, asks which pages you want and what your words leave open, reads a site you like, lets you pick a look if you want a say, and checks contrast before anything goes live. Templates, and a database for sites that keep records, start here too.
Type its name, pick what it is, and watch the crew sketch it. Then ask for a change in plain words.

Pre-order
Crumb and Co is ready to build for real. This was a sketch, played in your browser. The real build is designed for your business, checked for contrast and published to its own briks.live address. Starting is free.
From your sentence to a live address in 5 steps. You answer its questions, and you can switch on stops to approve the words and choose the look and the hero before it builds.
Before anything is built, Briks asks which pages you want and anything your words left open. Tick, type or let it decide. Asking is free, and if a build usually takes more credits than you have, you are told before it starts.
Which pages should your website have?
A new site holds 50 credits while it builds and is charged for the work it takes.
Add a site you admire. Briks reads its layout, spacing, type and motion, and builds yours in that spirit with your own words. No site in mind? It can start from the closest of over 250 of the best sites on the web in its own library, which keeps growing.
A site you like
One site, plus screenshots if you have them.
Want a say first? Switch on the stops you want, and the first build waits at each one for you to approve the words, choose the look from three directions and choose the hero from four wireframes. The look and hero stops are for sites built without a site to follow. Leave them off and it builds straight through.
Choose the look
Colour contrast is checked in the code before it publishes, then on the live page at desktop and phone, with a repair if something is hard to read.
Checking your site
It publishes first to its own briks.live address, kept out of search. Publish to production when you are ready, and connect your own domain on a paid plan.
Published
Briks designs every site you describe from a blank page. Each section is made for your business, its type is chosen for your trade from 46 display faces and 36 text faces, and its words are checked for contrast before it publishes. Want a say first? Switch on three looks to choose from, or show it a site you like.
Switch on Choose the look, and the first build waits while you pick one of three looks, drawn for your trade with your own words.

The faces are shown in stand-ins here, so this page loads none of them. Your site loads the faces named.
Each site's type is chosen for its business, from 46 display faces and 36 text faces. Compare a pairing with the fonts machine-made pages overuse.
A sturdy, warm serif for the headings and a friendly sans for the words: homely, and easy to read on a phone.
Left out of every new site, even when a site you like uses one: Inter, Inter Tight, Instrument Sans, Instrument Serif, Bricolage Grotesque, Fraunces, Space Grotesk, Syne, Geist, Roboto, Open Sans and Lato. Name one yourself and it stays.

Words
After launch, the site keeps changing with your business. Ask for changes in plain words in the studio chat, or on a paid plan click the words or picture on the page in the Visual Editor, and every build and change is saved as a version you can undo, redo or restore.
The Visual Editor lets you click the words or a picture on your page and change it right there. Plain edits use no credits, and every step can be undone.
Paid plansThe Visual Editor comes with every paid plan.

Hosting comes with every plan. Your site is published to its own address, then to production after a launch check, and on a paid plan to your own domain. Email from your site, scheduled jobs and webhooks are a switch away, and on a paid plan nightly database copies too. Every site is safe by default.
Every site is published to its own briks.live address, counted without cookies. On a paid plan, point your own domain at Briks and the certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Try it with any name.
Once visitors arrive, analytics count them without cookies, forms keep every enquiry, a chat answers from your own pages, and A/B tests show which version brings more calls, emails and form entries. On paid plans, agents help run the site: a Team lead plans their week, and the Security agent checks the site and asks before every fix.
The work starts the day it goes live. Briks hands each of these jobs to a built-in feature or an AI agent, and the agents ask you before anything goes out.
Keep it secure
Every publish is checked first, and a change that would load scripts from another website is held back. Security checks your code and keys after each publish and the whole site every week, then fixes what you approve.
Answer the chat at 11pm
The chat on your site answers visitors from your pages at any hour. What it cannot answer goes to Support, which drafts an email reply for you to approve.
Post something every week
Articles writes a search-friendly post on the days you choose. Social writes next week's posts for your X and LinkedIn. Both ask you before anything is published.
Fix what broke
Site watch wakes when your site stops answering and proposes a repair. Site keeper fixes old opening hours and broken links. Designer and coder looks at every page on phone, tablet and desktop and fixes what a visitor would notice.
Get found on Google and by AI assistants
SEO works on your titles, headings, picture text and speed every Wednesday. AI search checks that AI crawlers can read your site every Tuesday, and asks AI assistants the questions your buyers ask.
Know what visitors do
Visits are counted without cookies, and you can ask about them in plain words, 100 questions a site each month at no charge. Reporter sends you a one-page summary every Monday.
The chat and the analytics come with every site. AI agents come with paid plans, 3 a project on Starter and 15 on Agency, and each asks you before it emails anyone, changes your site or publishes a post.
Bring people in with four roles from Pro, keep a workspace for each client, share one media library across your sites, and read and edit the code written for each site, downloading it on a paid plan.
A chat and a database are a switch away, and paid plans add the Visual Editor and your own domain. You can try every tile below.

Pre-orderPictures that fit come from the studio's library, cut to size for your site, and anything it cannot supply is drawn new, at no charge. Or have every picture drawn new, paid in credits by the picture.
Sites that store data get their own database. View and edit records in the studio, and on a paid plan download them as JSON or CSV.

A new site holds 50 credits while it builds, a change 5 and a check 5. Each is charged for the work it took: what it does not use comes back, the charge can be more than the hold, and a request that fails is not charged.

Yes, on paid plans: Starter includes 3 agents per project, Pro 5, Studio 10 and Agency 15. Each has a job, a schedule and a monthly budget, and asks you before it emails anyone, changes your site or publishes a post. A Team lead plans their week, and the Security agent's fixes always wait for you.
