AI app builders
Replit does a great deal from one place: apps, mobile, slides, data visualisations and scheduled Routines. That breadth is the reason many people choose it, and also why some look around when the job in front of them is narrower, such as one business website or one internal app.
Here are five alternatives, each stronger in one direction: a built-in back end, design, GitHub workflows or marketing after launch.

The concern named reviewers raise most about Replit is cost: under effort-based pricing, users report paying for repeated Agent attempts and charges they did not expect. Others look for a tool that does less but does it with fewer decisions, or one that keeps a site online on a free plan beyond 30 days.
Costs are hard to predict under effort-based pricing, and users report paying for repeated Agent attempts and unexpected charges.
We ordered these by how much of Replit's app-building range each covers, and then by how each counts usage. Briks is ours and is listed fifth for Replit users, because it does not build mobile apps or slides.
Every fact about another product links to its own page, opened on 8 October 2026. Where something could not be confirmed it reads “Not listed”, and prices appear only where a US dollar price was confirmed on the product’s own page.
AI app builder
Lovable builds websites and web apps from a chat, generating a built-in back end with database, sign-in and storage at the same time. Git sync with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket is on every plan, so code stays as portable as on Replit, and payments through Paddle or Stripe arrive on Pro.
Best for: Web apps with accounts and payments, priced by credits.
AI app builder
Bolt.new covers web and mobile apps (through Expo), with Bolt Cloud bundling hosting, a database and domains. You can start from a GitHub repository, so a Replit project synced to GitHub can come across. Usage is counted in AI tokens a day and a month.
Best for: Replit users who want a similar range with a different pricing unit.
AI app builder
Base44 includes back end, database, sign-in, analytics and storage on every plan, and its after-launch tools go further than Routines in one direction: a Marketing Agent that plans channels and budget, Google Ads campaigns and social promotion. Superagents, in beta, run scheduled or triggered workflows.
Best for: Apps that need marketing help after launch.
AI app builder
v0 suits developers who prefer GitHub and Vercel to an all-in-one workspace: Next.js apps deploy to Vercel with preview deployments, and the free plan includes two-way GitHub with pull requests and CI. Databases connect through one-click integrations.
Best for: Developer teams on Vercel.
AI website and app builder
Briks is the pick when the result should be a designed, hosted business site rather than a codebase. It asks before building, designs from a site you like, checks contrast before publishing and keeps a version of every change. A request that fails is not charged. Agents come with paid plans.
Best for: One business website or dashboard, done properly.
Replit first, for reference, then the alternatives in the order above. “Not listed” means the pages we checked did not say, not that the product lacks it.
Lovable and Bolt.new are the closest for web apps with a built-in database and sign-in. Both include hosting and both let you take the code out.
Bolt.new builds mobile apps through Expo, and Base44 apps can be submitted to app stores.
Each counts differently. Lovable and Base44 use monthly credits, Bolt.new uses tokens, v0 draws dollar credits down by tokens, and Briks holds credits per job (50 for a new site) and charges the work it took.
Lovable publishes free on a lovable.app address, Base44 on base44.app, v0 on vercel.app, and Briks on a briks.live address. Bolt's free hosting has a monthly traffic limit.
Base44's Superagents (beta) run scheduled or triggered workflows. Lovable's project monitoring (beta) runs on a schedule. Briks agents run on schedules or when something happens, on paid plans; Bolt and v0 do not advertise post-launch agents.
Briks is built for it: a brief or a site you like becomes a designed, checked and hosted site, with analytics counted without cookies and your own domain from Starter.
