Durable gets a service business online in about 30 seconds and wraps the site in a CRM, bookings and agents. People look for alternatives when the site needs to look more distinctive than a generated default, or when they need to connect it to tools Durable does not integrate with.
These five alternatives trade some of Durable's speed for design control, integrations or a bigger toolset.

Two named reviewers, Ritoban Mukherjee at TechRadar (2024) and Ana Marković at Website Planet (2025), found Durable's customisation limited and its third-party integrations few. Both reviews predate Durable's current Free, Launch and Grow plans, so check whether the points still apply to you.

We ordered these by how well each answers the design and integration concerns while staying simple enough for a small service business. Briks is our product and comes first here, because designing from a site you like is exactly the gap reviewers describe; it lacks Durable's CRM and bookings.
Every fact about another product links to its own page, opened on 8 October 2026. Where something could not be confirmed it reads “Not listed”, and prices appear only where a US dollar price was confirmed on the product’s own page.

Briks answers the design concern head on: it designs from a site you like, checks contrast before publishing, and changes anything you describe, with every change a version you can undo. For integrations it sends webhooks when a site publishes, a form arrives or a record changes, and runs scheduled jobs. It has no CRM or booking calendar, takes one-time payments and subscriptions through your own processor, and its agents come with paid plans.
Best for: Service businesses that want a distinctive, designed site.

Wix keeps the all-in-one idea with a bigger toolset: an AI builder that makes a complete site, bookings and scheduling, ecommerce from Core, and agents for marketing (Kleo) and phone calls (Alfred), with actions sent for your approval. Reviewers say its template cannot be swapped once chosen.
Best for: Owners who want Durable's idea with more tools.

Hostinger's AI Builder makes a site from one prompt, bundles hosting, a domain and email, and on Unlimited adds ecommerce with 0% transaction fees and Hostinger Agent for SEO, marketing and posts. Premium is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term paid upfront, renewing at $10.99.
Best for: A low upfront price with agents on higher plans.

Squarespace offers more polished design than a generated default, Blueprint AI to start, scheduling and selling on every plan with free invoicing. There is no free plan, and reviewers find its design freedom limited compared with fully custom tools.
Best for: Polished sites with scheduling and invoices.

WordPress.com answers the integration concern with 60,000+ plugins from the Personal plan, and its WordPress Agent edits pages and posts when asked. Reviewers say it is harder for beginners to customise.
Best for: Businesses that need plugins for everything.
Durable first, for reference, then the alternatives in the order above. “Not listed” means the pages we checked did not say, not that the product lacks it.
Briks designs from a site you like and changes anything you describe. Squarespace offers polished templates if you prefer to edit by hand.
Wix (Aria, Kleo, Alfred) and Hostinger (Hostinger Agent on Unlimited and up). WordPress.com's agent works when asked. Briks has agents on paid plans.
WordPress.com installs plugins from Personal. Briks sends webhooks on publish, form entries and record changes, and runs scheduled jobs.
Wix and Squarespace both offer scheduling. Briks builds booking enquiry forms whose entries are kept in the studio.
Briks Free publishes one site to a briks.live address with 50 credits once. Wix and WordPress.com have free plans on their own subdomains.
Wix (from Core), Squarespace (every plan), Hostinger (Unlimited and up) and WordPress.com (payment buttons from Premium). Briks takes one-time payments and subscriptions through your own processor.
