AI app builders
Base44 packs a lot into every plan: back end, database, sign-in, payments and, after launch, a Marketing Agent. People who look for alternatives usually want one of three things: more control over the code, a different way of counting usage, or a better-designed public site.
Five alternatives follow, each with what it includes, what it costs where the US price was verified, and where to check.

Named reviewers raise three concerns about Base44: credits used on AI debugging and on regressions in working code, slow or unhelpful support, and billing disputes, including charges reported after cancellation, which the reviewer notes are customer claims.
Credits are used by AI debugging and by regressions the AI introduces into working code.
Slow or unhelpful support responses.
Billing disputes, including charges reported after cancellation (reported as customer claims).
We ordered these by how much of Base44's all-included app building each covers, then by how it answers the concerns above. Briks is our product and comes fourth: strong on designed sites and checks, with sign-in, one-time payments and subscriptions, but no app store listings.
Every fact about another product links to its own page, opened on 8 October 2026. Where something could not be confirmed it reads “Not listed”, and prices appear only where a US dollar price was confirmed on the product’s own page.
AI app builder
Lovable is the closest swap for an app with accounts: a chat generates the front end and a Cloud back end with database, sign-in and storage, and Pro adds Paddle or Stripe payments. Git sync with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket works on every plan, Free included, which is earlier than Base44's GitHub sync on Builder.
Best for: Apps with accounts and payments, with Git on every plan.
AI app builder
Bolt.new builds web and mobile apps with Bolt Database, sign-in, file storage and server functions, and connects Stripe for payments and subscriptions. You can start from Figma or a GitHub repository, and download the project at any time.
Best for: Apps and mobile apps you may want to take elsewhere later.
AI app builder
Replit's Agent builds web and mobile apps on managed PostgreSQL, adds Stripe, and on Core schedules work through Routines across Slack, Gmail and other tools, which is the closest thing here to Base44's Superagents.
Best for: Apps that need scheduled work across other tools.
AI website and app builder
Briks suits projects where the public site matters most. It designs from a brief or a site you like, checks contrast before publishing, keeps every change as a version, hosts the site, and gives data-backed sites their own database you can export. Sites can give users accounts and take one-time payments and subscriptions through your own processor; agents come with paid plans.
Best for: Business websites and dashboards that need to look designed.
AI website builder
Hostinger's AI Builder has an Agentic mode that builds websites and web apps with a built-in back end: data storage, sign-in with email or Google, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft accounts, file storage and automated emails. Its Hostinger Agent on Unlimited and up handles SEO, marketing and posts, and Agentic projects export as a React and Vite codebase.
Best for: Low-cost apps with hosting, a domain and email bundled.
Base44 first, for reference, then the alternatives in the order above. “Not listed” means the pages we checked did not say, not that the product lacks it.
Lovable: it generates an app with a built-in back end, database and sign-in, and adds payments on Pro.
Hostinger includes Hostinger Agent on Unlimited and up, and Replit has Routines on Core and up. Lovable's project monitoring is in beta. Briks has agents on paid plans.
Lovable syncs to Git on every plan, Bolt.new downloads and syncs to GitHub, and Replit has built-in Git. Hostinger exports Agentic projects as React and Vite, without back-end data.
Lovable (Paddle or Stripe from Pro), Bolt.new (Stripe), Replit (Stripe) and Hostinger (ecommerce on Unlimited and up, Stripe in Agentic apps). Briks takes one-time payments and subscriptions through your own processor on every plan.
Briks builds from a reference site plus screenshots, reading its layout, spacing, type and motion. Hostinger's Agentic mode can create a website from a URL.
Hostinger's Premium plan is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term paid upfront, renewing at $10.99 a month. Among monthly plans with verified US prices, Replit Core is $20 and Lovable and Bolt.new Pro are $25.
