# A team lead that plans your agents' week

The Team lead is an AI agent, on every paid plan, that runs your other agents as a team. Every Monday it reads your goals and last week's numbers, plans the crew's week for your approval, hands each task to the agent who can do it, and sends you one stand-up. It never acts on your business itself and never approves anything for anyone.

## How it works

1. **Give it your goals**

Tell it in its thread, or write them in Memory: more weekend pre-orders, more calls about loft conversions.

2. **It plans the week**

Every Monday at 08:00: at most 8 tasks, each for the teammate who can do it, for your approval.

3. **One stand-up**

What waits for you, what the team did, what is stuck and what is next.

## A plan for the week, from your goals

Every Monday at 08:00 in your workspace's time zone, the Team lead writes the week's plan: a few lines on what the team will do and the goals it serves, and at most 8 tasks, each for the teammate whose tools can do it.

To plan, it reads your goals, last week's numbers, what the team finished and what still waits, and ties each task to a goal or to something it saw.

The plan waits for your approval in Waiting, beside what the other agents ask. Once you approve it, each task goes to its teammate. Whatever a task leads to, an email, a change to your site or a post, still asks you as it always does.

## Work handed to the teammate who can do it

Agents hand each other work. A task says who asks, what to do, why, and what to send back, and an agent never hands on something it can do itself, or asks a teammate whose tools cannot do it.

A task may lead to one more, never a third, and a project hands out at most 10 tasks a day, so no chain of work runs away with your credits.

When you write to the Team lead, it answers for the team: it hands the work to the teammate who can do it, rather than doing or guessing it, and tells you who is doing what.

## One stand-up every Monday

After planning, the Team lead sends you one stand-up, in its thread and by email, in this order: what waits for you, most important first, with how long it has waited; what the team did and the numbers it moved; what is stuck; and what is next. A task that moved nothing says so.

It never acts on your business itself. It reads and it asks, and the work it plans is done by the agents whose job it is, each within its own budget.

## Hiring a Team lead

Hire it from Agents like any agent, on a project that has other agents to lead. With a project chosen, Autopilot hires it with the recommended crew: Team lead, Site keeper, Support, Leads, Site watch and SEO.

Its monthly budget is 30 credits by default, which you can change, and it counts towards your plan's agents per project.

## Team lead in practice

Three example businesses, and how each would use it. Where a site is pictured, it is a sample Briks built for an example business, not a customer.

1. Bakery

   **More weekend pre-orders**

A bakery's goal is more weekend pre-orders. On Monday the Team lead's plan gives SEO the pre-order page's title and description, and Articles a post on choosing a birthday cake. The owner approves the plan over coffee, and each change it leads to waits for her as usual.

2. Fitness studio

   **One message on a Monday**

A fitness studio runs six agents. Monday brings one stand-up: two email replies waiting for approval, the timetable change SEO asked for and published last week, and a note that Leads paused itself after three failed runs.

3. Web design studio

**Asking the lead, not each agent**

The owner writes to the Team lead that a page about the new service needs an article. The lead hands it to Articles, says so in the thread, and the article waits for approval like any other.

## What you get

- Plans the week every Monday at 08:00, at most 8 tasks
- Each task goes to the teammate who can do it
- The plan waits for your approval
- One stand-up: what waits, what was done, what is stuck, what is next
- Never acts on your business, never approves for anyone
- Hired with Autopilot's recommended crew

### Good to know

- The Team lead needs a paid plan and counts towards its agents: Starter includes 3 agents per project, Pro 5, Studio 10 and Agency 15.

## Questions about the Team lead

### Does the Team lead change my site?

No. It never acts on your business. It plans and hands out work, and every change a task leads to still asks you.

### Do I approve the plan?

Yes. The week's plan waits in Waiting until you approve it, and only then does each task go to its teammate.

### Where do my goals come from?

From you. Tell the Team lead in its thread, or write them in Memory, and it reads them every Monday before it plans.

### What does it cost?

Its runs are paid from your workspace's credits, within a monthly budget of 30 credits by default, and it counts as one of your plan's agents.

### Is it useful on its own?

It leads a crew, so it is most useful on a project with other agents. On its own it has nobody to hand work to.
