# Briks vs Hostinger

Hostinger's AI Builder is a low-cost bundle: hosting, a domain for a year and email come with every plan, Manual mode makes a site from one prompt for drag-and-drop editing, and Agentic mode builds websites and web apps through chat with sign-in, data and file storage built in and code you can export. Unlimited adds ecommerce and Hostinger Agent. Briks builds websites, web apps and dashboards from a brief or from a site you like, asks what it needs first, checks contrast before it publishes and keeps every change as a version. Hostinger wins on price and ecommerce; Briks on design from references, pre-publish checks and a simple monthly price, with sign-in, one-time payments and subscriptions on every plan.

As of 8 October 2026. Products change, so check their site before you decide.

01 Building

## Building: two modes, or one careful process

Hostinger offers Manual and Agentic modes; Briks asks first and designs from references.

Hostinger gives you two ways to build. Manual mode makes a ready-made site from one prompt that you then edit by drag and drop. Agentic mode is a chat that builds websites and web apps, such as stores with accounts, memberships, portals and booking systems, and it can also create a website from a URL.

Briks has one process for websites, web apps and dashboards. It asks which pages you want and what your brief left open, reads a site you like for layout, spacing, type, motion and the header menu, builds the site, and checks contrast in the code before it publishes. A site that needs accounts gets email and password sign-in, with Google and seven more providers on your own keys.

Example: a fitness coach with a members' area

With Hostinger

Agentic mode can build the site with member sign-in and stored data, and Unlimited adds payments.

With Briks

Briks can build the coach's site, designed from a site you like, with an enquiry form and a database for programmes. Members sign in with email and password, and can pay once for a programme or subscribe monthly through your own Stripe, Paddle, Polar or Lemon Squeezy account, with the programmes kept for subscribers.

02 Hosting

## Hosting, domain and email

Hostinger bundles a domain and email; Briks hosts and connects a domain you own on Starter and above.

Every Hostinger plan, Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup, includes hosting, and the domain is free for the first year. Agentic projects can send up to 500 automated emails a day.

Briks hosts every site on every plan, Free included. Each site publishes first to a preview at its own briks.live address, kept out of search, and then to production after a launch check. Your own domain starts on Starter and is not included free. Site email, when switched on, sends from a briks address under your site's name, not from your own domain.

03 Changes

## Changes

Hostinger edits by drag and drop or chat; Briks edits by plain words with versions.

In Manual mode you change the site by drag and drop; in Agentic mode you keep chatting. An exported Agentic project cannot be re-imported for more prompting, so changes after export happen in the code.

In Briks every change is a sentence in the studio chat that becomes a published version. Anyone with edit rights can undo, redo or restore versions, and you can A/B test a saved version against the live site. Questions about your site are answered without a build.

04 After launch

## After launch: ecommerce, agents and payments

Hostinger Agent and ecommerce come on Unlimited; Briks agents come with every paid plan.

On Unlimited and Cloud Startup, Hostinger includes ecommerce with 0% transaction fees and more than 100 payment methods, and Agentic apps can connect Stripe. Hostinger Agent, also included there, has SEO, marketing, content and sales skills and can schedule and publish posts automatically; Premium gets Hostinger Agent AI support only.

Briks counts visitors without cookies, can switch on a chat that answers from your published pages, keeps form entries in the studio and emails them in production, and sends webhooks to your other tools. Its agents come with paid plans, and its sites take one-time payments and subscriptions through your own processor.

05 Pricing

## Pricing: upfront terms or a monthly plan

Hostinger Premium is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term; Briks Starter is $16 a month.

Hostinger's Premium plan is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term paid upfront, $143.52 in total, against a regular price of $11.99 a month, and it renews at $10.99 a month. Monthly and 12-month prices were not shown on the page. AI credits for creating sites and apps are one-time: 5 on Premium and 15 on Unlimited and Cloud Startup. Two reviewers point to steep renewal prices.

Briks Starter is $16 a month for 175 credits a month, 1 site and 1 domain, and Pro $29 for 400 credits, 3 sites and 3 domains, with no upfront term; Studio is $79 and Agency $199. Free gives 50 credits once. Each job holds credits and is charged for the work it took. Paid plans are bought online at checkout.

06 Ownership

## Code export

Hostinger's Agentic export is a real codebase; Briks's zip, on paid plans, does not run on its own.

Hostinger exports Agentic projects as a Node.js project built with React and Vite, in a zip, listed as Code editor and export on all three plans. The back-end data is not included, and an exported project cannot be re-imported.

Briks lets you browse the site's own files, edit them with edit rights, and on a paid plan download them as a zip, which leaves out the shared parts every Briks site runs on, so it does not run on its own. On a paid plan, database records download as JSON or CSV; form entries cannot be exported.

## What reviewers raise about Hostinger

These points come from named reviewers, linked and dated, and only where more than one source agreed. They describe some people’s experience, not everyone’s. Some reviewers publish their own tools, and older reviews may predate Hostinger’s current plans.

## Moving from Hostinger to Briks

To move a Hostinger site to Briks, build it again from a brief and add the Hostinger site as a reference for the look.

1. **Gather what you want to keep**

Copy the words from your Hostinger site that you want on the new one, and collect any pictures you own.

2. **Upload your pictures**

Add them to your Briks media library, where any project's prompt box can use them.

3. **Start a new project with a brief**

Describe the business and paste in the words you are keeping. Briks asks which pages you want and anything the brief leaves open.

4. **Add your Hostinger site as a reference**

Paste its address as your project's reference site. Briks reads its layout, spacing, type, motion and header, and builds a new site in that spirit with your words.

5. **Check the preview**

The first publish goes to a briks.live preview kept out of search. Ask for changes in plain words; each one is a version you can undo.

6. **Publish to production**

A launch check runs first, including links that go nowhere.

7. **Connect your domain on a paid plan**

On Starter or above, add an A record, a CNAME for www and a TXT record. The certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Paid plans are bought online at checkout.

### Good to know

- Accounts, stored member data, ecommerce and Hostinger email mailboxes do not move to Briks. Sign-in and payments are set up again on the new site, with your own keys.
- If your domain was registered with Hostinger, point its records to Briks once your Briks site is in production on a paid plan.

## Common questions

### Is Hostinger cheaper than Briks?

At the start, yes: Premium is $2.99 a month on a 48-month term paid upfront, renewing at $10.99. Briks Starter is $16 a month with no term, and Briks has a free plan.

### Does Briks include a domain and email like Hostinger?

No. Briks connects a domain you own on Starter and above, and site email sends from a briks address under your site's name. Hostinger includes a domain for the first year and email.

### Can Briks build apps with sign-in like Hostinger's Agentic mode?

Yes. Briks builds web apps and dashboards with their own database, and a site that needs accounts gets email and password sign-in. Google, Apple, Microsoft, GitHub, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Discord switch on with your own app keys.

### Which has agents after launch?

Both. Hostinger Agent is included on Unlimited and Cloud Startup. Briks agents come with every paid plan, from Starter.

### Can I export code from both?

Hostinger exports Agentic projects as React and Vite, without back-end data. On a paid plan, Briks downloads your site's own files, which do not run on their own.

### Does Hostinger have a free plan?

No, it has a 14-day trial. Briks Free gives 50 credits once and one published site.
